Exciting news! Pearseus: Vigil is finished! I now have to prepare the book cover and actually publish it, but in the meantime I wanted to offer a free Advance Reading Copy (ARC) to my blog friends. Anyone who’s interested in reading and (hopefully) reviewing it is welcome to a copy!
You may notice that this is now billed as Book 3, as discussed a month ago. Rise of the Prince is now Book 1, and Mad Water is Book 2. Schism has been rebranded as Book 0, or prequel to the series, and is no longer part of the bundle. I believe this makes more sense, but it means I have to redo all covers and republish the entire series. So, the official launch may have to wait for a few more days.
Anyway, just leave a comment below, and I’ll email you your free copy!
On a side note, it’s my birthday (I’m turning 45), so if you’re looking for a great present, feel free to read and review Runaway Smile! 🙂

Happy birthday Nicholas! I am not sure if Si-Fi is my cup of tea, hope you have plenty of readers/ reviewers. If not, I’ll give it a go! Best wishes, Barbara

That’s so sweet of you, but I’d rather you started with Rise (book #1 now), or you might feel frightfully confused. I’d be happy to send you a copy. It’s not really scifi, just set in the future. 🙂

So far I’ve only read Schism, so I’m not the ideal person to beta read this one, but I’m sure you’ll be beating them off, Nick! On the bright side, at least I started at the (very) beginning! All the best with this, and congtatulations!

Congrats and kudos on finishing the book! Wish I had more time, then I’d volunteer to beta read at once. As it is, I’m really pressed for time at the moment (hardly even blogging, but making good progress with my own writing), so… rain check? 🙂

Congrats, Nicholas! Happy Birthday! My husband’s birthday is on Saturday. So you are almost exactly the same age. My uncle’s birthday is today as well. The month of great people though! Have an awesome day and enjoy.

Happy Birthday my friend! Wish you lots of happiness and success. I am already well into the book and loving it, thank you! The republishing/redoing bit sounds like a nightmare, I am not envious at all 🙂 Hope you sort it out soon! Been there where things needed changing, it’s not fun, but it’s a trial and error game we’re in, isn’t it. All the best 🙂

I’m going through something along this line, myself. I am rethinking the start of my Barbarian story, but want to keep some of what I’m changing to put in different sections. Glad, at this part of the stage, that computer files make it so easy to shift things around! Scrivener is my friend! 😀

Happy Birthday and Congratulations on finishing book three! Many reasons to celebrate so I raise my glass to you and say, “stinygiasou” (I hope that’s right)! I don’t envy what you have to do with the series but I think it is a great idea! I’ll take a raincheck on the offer of an ARC. I have a lot going on in addition to my own writing. 🙂 Cheers!
