Is the reblog button part of the Share button?

One thing I’ve discovered with self-hosted WordPress is that we don’t have access to the reblog button yet, unfortunately. I installed a Chrome plugin (it actually works through a bookmark) called “Press This”. It works much the same way. But it’s definitely less effective than “Reblog”, because there’s no visual element on the blog to prompt the user.

Oh, right! You can go back and add an image etc though, can’t you?

Yep, you sure can. “Press This” gives you two options: “Save draft” and “Publish now”. I usually save a draft, then go to the post on my site and modify it before publishing it.

I’ve been thinking about switching to self-hosted, so thanks for that 🙂

It should be among the rest of the share/Like buttons. I honestly think this last round of wordpress.com upgrades were needlessly confusing.
