Why is it that, every time I mention I’ll start posting less frequently (last week I announced I’ll be posting every 3 days instead of every 2 until the end of August), stuff happens that makes me post almost daily instead? In this case, though, it’s for the best – and weirdest – reason possible: a mention of my post, My Facebook Ads Experience and 3 Marketing Rules in Bookbub’s own blog, Bookbub Insights, right under industry heavyweight, Mark Dawson.
If you’re unfamiliar with Bookbub Insights, then you can start by reading my special series on Bookbub – right after you visit and bookmark Bookbub Insights, and subscribe to it, of course (it’s free, and it’s full of great tips, so what are you waiting for?)
A great resource
Blowing my trumpet is not why I’m posting this, though. The Top Guides to Online Advertising for Marketing Books by Diana Urban is one of the best resources I’ve seen in a while. She covers Facebook ads, Google adwords and Bookbub ads. If you’re interested in any of these, the post is chock-full with links (I counted 38 of them), this is one post you should definitely read, reread, and, of course, bookmark. As Diana explains:
In this post, we compiled the most comprehensive guides we could find on three online advertising platforms that are popular with authors and book marketers: Facebook, Google AdWords, and the new BookBub Ads platform. We hope these guides help you understand their different use cases and create successful campaigns.
As for me, all I can say is that Diana has obviously put in a lot of hours preparing this post, so be sure to check it out!

Nicholas Rossis is rightly pleased with his mention by Bookbub of his post My Facebook Ads experience and 3 Marketing Rules.. also for those of you who have not visited Nicholas’s site before he has linked to all his tutorials, guides, book marketing and facebook marketing posts.. free information from a successful writer should never be passed up…

Why are writers so adverse to tooting their own horns? Remember, art doesn’t apologize! Congratulations! You’ve got some great advice to share, so enjoy the moment! Right on.

NICE one Nick! You deserve it and more. Very few authors are willing to share their data and useful experience so generously, and then you won’t even allow yourself to toot about it. Us devoted readers are obviously going to have to do it for you 😀
