I’m more comfortable with the approach I do now. Sometimes even just getting down a sentence is progress.

Good tips!! I prefer to read mixed genre with fantasy, sci-fi and paranormal as the straight genres are getting to be the same story retold, not like with Tolkien and the other great fantasy writer. And I love urban fantasy which i a good example of a mixed genre.
