I had some great news the other day: Emotional Beats: How to Easily Convert your Writing into Palpable Feelings, my thesaurus of beats that convey emotions, was an award-winning finalist in the prestigious 2017 Independent Press Awards in the Writing and Publishing category!
The competition is judged by experts from all aspects of the book industry, including publishers, writers, editors, book cover designers and professional copywriters. They select award Winners and Distinguished Favorites based on overall excellence. In 2017, the IPA had worldwide participation, from London to Australia, to Portugal, to Hong Kong. “Independent publishing is alive and well, and continues to gain traction worldwide,” said awards sponsor Gabrielle Olczak.
You can check out the winners on the IPA website.

Congrats!!! I’m not surprised as it is both well done and such a help for writers. My thesaurus is a disappointment and online ones are no better. I have it on kindle but would like it in print.

Very cool. 🙂 I have Emotional Beats and Perseus on my Kindle. I haven’t had the chance to read them yet-there are too many wonderful books and not enough hours in the day to read them. :-p I will read them ASAP though.
