MomGoes has a few select children’s books to suggest.
Bedtime stories are a must in my household, and every night since he was a wee baby, there has always been a story to be read. He just turned six and enjoys adventures and mysteries, so I have made up a tentative list for this year’s read. We only read for about 30 minutes, which is good enough for one chapter, unless of course I am bombarded with questions and “what-ifs” about the story.
Without further ado, here is my list for 2018.
1. Peter Nimber and His Fantastic Eyes by Jonathan Auxier
So, far we have been entranced by the magic, whimsy, and adventure of this book. Peter Nimble, a blind thief, finds himself in an adventure as he tries to save a lost kingdom.
2. The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett
