A great collection. I’m intrigued that only one is a woman – I wonder if that is because women don’t tend to share advice, or if they don’t get quoted as often.

The Twain quote made me laugh, but I think the Poe is really spot on. I’m constantly telling writers in critique to focus their images and setting on the main point of their story.
