Rayne Hall is the successful author of dozens of books in her celebrated Writer’s Craft series. A few months ago, we wrote together a book chock-full of copywriting tips called Copywriting: Get Paid to Write Promotional Texts.
Rayne and I have now finished a new book, Writing and Publishing a Book Series: Success Strategies for Authors. The book contains everything we’ve learned all these years about creating a book series rather than publishing a series of stand-alone novels. If you’ve ever wondered how to turn your book into a series that readers recognize and love or how to boost your books’ potential by creating a series, this is the book for you.
You can now preorder Writing and Publishing a Book Series on Amazon for only $0.99 (0.77 GBP)

Have you ever thought of writing a book series, instead of separate stories? If so, here’s how!

Nicholas, I just bought the book! Not thinking so much about a book series, as I am about a serial. Probably somewhat different only in length. I just published a book, Three Years of Her Life, and some have said, “What happens next?” I thought all the character arcs were completed. But, maybe not. I wanted to keep the happy ending, however I can see more happening in the story, with links to the past in the original book. Thanks for making me think further into the next book. I thought a Literary fiction was the way to go. The first, historical fiction, is a hard sell. I actually did send you an email about the book launch. Wasn’t sure if you got it. I also became a member of Independent Author Network (IAN). Noticed you were and thought it might be good for book marketing. Also I’m going to be featured on Chris’s Author Hall of Fame, going live July 5th. Here’s a link to my blog site and book related posts under My Blog. I’m shamelessly book marketing on social media and on comments.📚🎶 Christine. https://cerobinsonauthor.com

Thank you so much, Christine! When readers wonder about the future of your heroes, it’s a good indication that (a) you did a great work of creating engaging characters and (b) you should consider turning it into a series.
I haven’t got the email – and I was wondering about that, as I was expecting it. Could you please resend? I’m so sorry for the trouble.
I am a member of IAN but I’m hardly engaged there. As with everything else in life, you get out of it what you put into it, so it’s not surprising that I haven’t really got anything out of it marketing-wise (although it’s great to connect with fellow authors).
Many thanks for the link!

Nicholas, thank you for your comment. I just sent you the 6/8/22 email again. Please let me know that you either got it or not. cerobinson39@cox.net. And I am writing a sequel to the first book. Readers want to know what happens next. A question I need to answer. 📚 Christine
