2022 was… unusual, for sure. We’ve seen the end of COVID, only it wasn’t really an end now, was it?

At least the economy has recovered following the ruinous crises of past years… or so I’d love to say, except it hasn’t.

Well, maybe climate change has… nope, not that either.

Plus, a war right on the fringes of Europe that seemingly broke out of nowhere.

It’s all enough to give one pause. And wonder, what will 2023 be like?

I guess the best we can hope is that 2023 sorts out the mess the previous years left rather than witness an alien invasion/meteorite fall/tsunamis/volcanoes/assorted disasters.

Still, optimism is always welcome, so here’s to a happy, healthy, prosperous, and blessed year!
