Niditales
Niditales is the children’s book series developed by Dimitris Fousekis (illustrations) and me. A total of six books have been penned: two have already been published, and a further four are currently being illustrated.
Runaway Smile: An unshared smile is a wasted smile
A little boy’s smile runs away until it owner learns that an unshared smile is a wasted smile.
Runaway Smile is the first book in the Niditales series. You can check it out on Runaway Smile’s page.
I woke up this morning and I had lost my smile and it wasn’t my fault and I looked everywhere and it was gone. Then I met a workman and a king and the best salesman in the world and a clown and no-one wanted to give me theirs. At school, I asked Miss to give me hers, but she gave us a pop quiz instead, and then no-one was smiling and…
A little boy wakes up in the morning and realizes he has lost his smile. After spending the entire day trying to find it, he learns the truth behind smiles: the only real smiles are the shared ones.
[tweetthis remove_twitter_handles=”true”]”A masterpiece treasured for life”: Check out award-winning children’s book, Runaway Smile[/tweetthis]
Musiville
Musiville is the second book in Niditales series. Until the year’s end, you can read the entire book on my blog. Please keep in mind that, come January, only a limited part will be available. So, if anyone wishes to read it then, just let me know through the contact form or in the comments.
A group of animals has evolved into musical instruments. Or is it the other way around? Whichever the case, they have now formed their own little village: Musiville. And bands. Lots and lots of bands. When everyone starts playing their own tune, buildings get torn down by an invader. Can Musiville be saved from this unexpected threat?

Shared today on Facebook, with the following message: This is a highly entertaining and well-written book for children that you can read online for free. The author, like any child, lets his imagination run free. The moral of the story is incredibly touching.

Must be read with your family. The family will come alive with the boy looking for the runaway smile. As we read, every member in my family had wonderful remarks about where to find the smile. This book, ‘Runaway Smile’ is entertaining for the whole family as well as educational for the little ones.

Nicholas…what a great read! I love the illustrations in the book and love the story of the little boy looking for his smile. A very nice children’s book that conveys a very important message. Only one thing I did notice FYI…page 61 on the right seems not to have a margin on the right. Hope that helps!! Great book!

Thank you Nicholas for the free read. Quite an interesting little people’s story. This is a story for ages 10 – 12, I must say. I believe that, that age and a little above will be able to capture the essence, and lesson of that story. Happy New Year!

I like to think that every age can get a little something out of it. The younger children will probably just have fun at the illustrations and silliness happening, while older children (and parents) will focus on the messages it contains. We’ll see!
Thanks for reading it!!
