Photos of Pelion

Here are some photos I have taken at Pelion, Greece. The region combines spectacular beaches with the loveliest mountains, so it’s a great all-season destination. It is also home of the mythical Centaurs. Sadly, we didn’t come across any of those, but we did see a dolphin that chased tunas a few yards from the beach. My camera was not fast enough, though, so you have to imagine it. It was very pretty (as you can tell from my books, I just love elaborate descriptions).

Most of the photos are of Damouhari, the village where part of the Mamma Mia movie was shot.

[NB: If you wish to use any of these on your blog or elsewhere, all I ask is that you credit me with a link to this page, or contact me for a signature-free, hi-res version.]
